the metal genres to work with him. Below is an example of the work that Heath has done with a northern Illinois band called Fall of Eden. For songwriters, musicians, and anyone with a love for music, Coffeejam is the perfect opportunity to meet and connect with other musicians, share your music, JAM, or just hang out and enjoy the atmosphere with a great cup of coffee. Coffee Jam has been meeting at 2:00 PM at Hopkins Park near the Gazebo at the south pool entrance in Dekalb, IL on the first Sunday of the month, excluding major holidays. Heath was involved with a compilation of Artists in the DeKalb, IL area. Meeting in an old Finnish Meeting House, we recorded in the natural acoustics of the building, allowing all the creaking and ambient noise to join the music captured. Of the 28, all tracks except 1,11,12,17-20 were Recorded, Mixed, and Mastered by Heath Close. The Compilation lives here in it’s entirety. Enjoy. Warning: Track 8 has a Parental Advisory.
Here is an example of Mixing and Mastering material not recorded in our studio. This client brought pre-recorded multitrack material that was recorded on a Korg D1200. There was also very slight pitch correction on the vocal track for a very natural sound. The artist is Pete Holtz of DeKalb, IL.
