My name is Heath Close, and I am the CEO and Producer at 4Arm Records, Inc. I’m building a team of musicians / composers / songwriters to work with in various ways including writing songs for upcoming albums and eventually working toward tv placement and film placement.
Any genre… any style… if you write songs using MIDI… I want to explore working with you…while you might hear your song as punk, classical, metal, hip hop, or even polka, I might hear the next song on an upcoming electronica album, an upcoming metal album, or any other type of music project I have in the works.
I’m looking to produce your MIDI in ways you may expect or in ways you may not expect, kindly remove any genre blinders you may be wearing if you wish to explore this opportunity.
I have an immediate need for songs to be produced as dance / techno / electronica as well as ambient electronica. If your song is chosen to be included in an upcoming album, you will be compensated based on sales.

I can directly swap project files if you are using any of the following DAWs:
- Logic Studio
- Pro Tools
- Ableton Live
- Reason
- Record
- Melodyne Studio
- Garageband
If you do not use any of those DAWs, any MIDI exported from any DAW will work.
I’m looking for the kind of musician that can sit and write an 8 bar verse section, 16 bar chorus section, and an 8 bar change (or whatever, I’m just throwing out numbers) with bass lines (and solos if you think it will fit the piece) using virtual instruments and send me the MIDI.
I am not looking for a finished or fleshed out song using your own virtual instruments. I am looking to write and produce joint works of music with MIDI originated by you. Even simple sections of MIDI are acceptable, as I can arrange your MIDI clips, whatever accommodates your work flow.
